We deliver on our commitment to safety by Implementing the following practices:

INITIAL ASSESSMENT

We conduct a thorough assessment of the dog's behavior, health, and any special needs. This allows us to tailor our services to meet the specific requirements of each dog. If dogs do not have good recall, they will stay on leash.

LEASH EQUIPMENT

Dogs are provided with Kurgo - Crash Tested Safety Harness & Seat Belts and will have their own seat in the vehicle. Kennels may be used for smaller dogs which are fastened by safety latches. GPS Trackers can be provided upon request.

GROUP DYNAMICS

When walking multiple dogs, we assess their compatibility and ensure appropriate groupings to prevent conflicts and maintain a safe walking environment for everyone.

CUSTOMIZED CARE PLANS

Every dog is unique, which is why we offer customized care plans to fit your dog's specific needs. Whether your dog needs extra attention or a longer walk, we've got you covered.

ROUTE PLANNING

We carefully plan our walking routes to avoid high-traffic areas, hazardous terrain, and potential dangers such as aggressive dogs or wildlife. Our walkers are familiar with safe and dog-friendly paths or dog beaches in Vancouver and area.

WEATHER CONSIDERATIONS

In extreme weather conditions, such as heatwaves or storms, we adjust our walking schedules to protect the dogs from discomfort or danger.

COMPLIMENTARY TRAINING

Our team is equipped to handle basic training commands to ensure control and safety during walks. This includes recall training and positive reinforcement techniques. Leash Training, Trail Manners.

EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS

We take emergencies seriously. Our team is trained to handle various situations, including injuries, illness, or unexpected incidents. All our dog walkers are trained in pet first aid, and carry a first aid kit at all times. We maintain open communication with owners and have access to local veterinary resources if needed.

CLIENT COMMUNICATION/REPORT CARD

By providing regular updates on their dog's well-being and any incidents that may have occurred during the walk, We maintain open and transparent communication with our clients.

What are your operating hours?

We are open Monday through Friday from 9am to 9pm. We work all day Saturday and Sunday by appointment.

Do you offer group walks?

Yes, we offer group walks for up to 6 dogs at a time. For nature walks, we take them on dog friendly trails only with proper permits from the city. On or off leash.

Do you offer solo walks?

Yes. we offer services tailored to your dogs specific needs. Whether they require solo walks, small pack neighborhood walks or fine in a pack on a nature walk, on leash or off. We provide the service that best fits your dog's needs so that they're safe and thriving best.

Are your dog walkers trained and insured?

Yes. Each of us are certified in pet first aid, Snoop Troop holds proper insurance policies and is bondable.

Do you have local dog walkers in Vancouver?

Yes, we have local dog walkers in Vancouver and area.
